Vespa Display Set for Canada's 2018 The Motorcycle Shows

Vespa scooter fans unite! We at Vespa Canada will have various models on display from our 2018 scooter lineup at all six events of 2018 The Motorcycle Shows.

Canada's premier gathering of scooter fans, The Motorcycle Shows begins January 5 in Calgary, and ends February 25 with the final event in Montreal.

Throughout all six shows, we’ll have selections on display from our 2018 Vespa scooter lineup, highlighted by our newest model, the limited-edition 2018 Vespa Sei Giorni, which pays homage to the original 1951 Sei Giorni that claimed nine gold medals in an enduro race containing mostly motorcycles.

The 2018 scooter, based on the top-selling Vespa GTS, features a Euro4-compliant, 300cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine that produces 21 horsepower @ 7750 rpm and 16 ft/lbs of torque @ 5000 rpm.

Vespa Canada also will have selections on display from the following models:

●      Primavera: Available in a 50 and 150, the Primavera is the driving force behind Vespa. This platform was originally launched in 1969, and retains some of the classic styling but with modern technology such as ABS.
●      Sprint: The sportiest of our “small frame” lineup that has styling reminiscent of the Vespas in the ‘60s and ‘70s. The Sprint is available in both 50cc or 150cc variations.
●      GTS: This is our biggest and most powerful scooter, available as the GTS 300. It’s also available in a “Super” edition that offers sportier characteristics.
●      GTV: Our GTV takes the GTS platform, and adds serious vintage styling, such as fender-mounted headlight and Portofino Green with Brown seat color combination.

The Vespa Canada staff will be on hand to educate participants on any element of these newer Vespa models.

Events at each of The Motorcycle Shows include Yamaha Riding Academy, She Rides, Hangar 17, and the Ground n' Gravity Show.
